Romance is Alive and Well at Flaxton Gardens
Romance blossomed when Trish and David visited Flaxton Gardens one auspicious morning in the Christmas holidays. Although they weren’t yet engaged, the couple had previously discussed marriage and stopped by to check out the wedding options on offer. An impromptu proposal followed when the pair sat down for lunch and David popped the question, leaving Trish in tears of joy.
Fast forward to the 29th of June – a winter wedding where dreams came true for the smitten newlyweds. With the help of the Flaxton staff, they were able to, “work with the natural beauty of Flaxton Gardens,” and featured their, “romantic vintage touch,” as Trish said. The result was one of the happiest days of their lives, spent with loved ones from sunrise to sunset.
A Magical Ceremony
So many elements came together to make Trish and David’s marriage a special and tender one. They told us the people and atmosphere were stand out features on the day, but charming qualities such as “the view, the arbour, the waterfall, [and] the starry night sky in the winery,” really contributed to the ceremony.
There are so many unique things that make this place just magical.
The couple also valued the service and support of the Flaxton Gardens Team, who provided beautiful wedding inclusions and decorations. “We utilized the wine barrels, the duchesses and furniture provided by Flaxton Gardens,” Trish mentioned. She and David also used Flaxton’s timber centerpieces, candelabras and a backdrop adorned with roses to complete their design.
When asked about the staff, the newlyweds said, “We felt that the Flaxton Gardens team had it all sorted and that we would be in good hands.” Flaxton’s Wedding Coordinator, Melissa, and Executive Chef/CEO, Alan, provided the couple with a “divine” selection of food and drink for the menu, which turned out to be a highlight among the guests.
Their kindness, realness, and passion sold us.
After such a smooth and perfect wedding day, Trish and David were left with countless memorable moments to look back on. “There are so many,” Trish pondered, “but I think the one that stands out is walking down the aisle to the man of my dreams, on such a beautiful day in such a stunning location. I was truly blessed.”
David sprinkled his own dash of romance when he said his happiest memory was, “watching everyone turn up and seeing the delight on their faces when they saw Flaxton Gardens. This was the moment I knew I could not wait to see my bride walk down the aisle.”
The Flaxton Gardens Team wishes Trish and David all the best for their loving and rewarding future, as they embark on a new life together.
