Moving ahead with changing times and changing seasons

Welcome to the first ‘FG’ blog!

The goal of this blog is to keep you (our valued customer or customer-to-be) up-to-date with all the excitement, which naturally comes with life at Flaxton Gardens. From wedding trends to wonderful hen’s high teas, scones and cream to soiree dinners, I hope to share it all with you.

The exciting part is you’re here… Welcome!

Are you curious about on our new restaurant menus? Maybe you’re here to learn more about Flaxton Gardens as a wedding venue? I’m here for the wedding ‘inspo’ photos to be honest (see below ;))… Or maybe you’re just cruising – that’s totally fine too.

Seasonal Change at Flaxton Gardens

I must say, 2016 has been one of many ‘seasons’ for us at Flaxton Gardens. Life is full of seasonal changes after all, but we’ve learnt the key to success is how you manage them as they arise. Sometimes changes are exciting, delightful things. Other times, they can present as a challenge…

Customers’ needs and wants change like seasons. Our aim is to move with the times in an awe-inspiring way; onwards and upwards!

Funnily enough, this blog has been released simultaneously with our totally fresh website. Many elements of the restaurant (which we love) will stay the same. However, a refreshing new menu is on the way and as we enter a new year and new season, we will be opening 7 days a week for lunch – plus 5 nights for dinner.

Happy Hour each night that we are open for dinner will be from 5pm-6pm. Our monthly ‘Steak and Ribs Nights’ will also form part of our dinner menu – 5 nights a week!

Ladies – you can still join us for a beautiful morning or afternoon high tea. And we’ll continue to offer a divine array of lunch items – whether you want to devour a delicious, whole barramundi or just pop in for Devonshire tea – that’s fine.

We will be hosting many more FG events next year too; Throughout 2017 we will be hosting a variety of high tea events, an amazing wedding expo/showcase in January and a Valentine’s Dinner in February, just to name a few!

So, I hope to see you at one or many of these events and we will keep you up-to-date so you can keep up with all the ‘FG’ excitement!

From the FG Family to yours, we wish you a Merry Christmas and hope to welcome you for a delicious bite to eat or drink soon.
