The Curated Plate, a new four-day food festival on the Sunshine Coast from 8-11 August, featured some of the best chefs from Australia and around the world. As part of this event, Flaxton Gardens and Mercedes-Benz were proud to partner in presenting “Dining Under the Stars” in an elegant, relaxed environment where guests experienced the best the Sunshine Coast has to offer in food and wine while overlooking the glittering lights of the Sunshine Coast.
This event also marked our 10th Anniversary at Flaxton Gardens and we couldn't have asked for a more wonderful way to celebrate our ten year milestone.
Chef and Owner, Alan Thompson put all of his 30+ years of culinary experience in New Zealand, UK and Australia into this Paddock to Plate gala dining event, using top of the range fresh local produce. Sparkling wine, freshly shucked oysters and canapés on arrival, followed by a further three courses partnering with quality local producers. Wines complemented each course and was served while local musicians entertained our guests. A Fireworks finale rounded off an amazing evening!
